Christopher's Barber Studio(“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates this website to let you learn about our barbers and book appointments online. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using this site or booking an appointment, you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
When you book an appointment, we collect:
- Your first and last name
- Your email address
- Your phone number
- The barber, service(s), and appointment time you select
We do not collect or store payment card information on this website. Any payment is handled in person at the shop or through our booking provider, Square.
How we use your information
- To create and manage your appointment
- To send you an appointment confirmation and reminders by email and text message (SMS)
- To contact you if there is a change to your appointment
- To keep a record of your visit for the shop
Text messages (SMS)
When you book, we send transactional text messages related to your appointment (for example, a confirmation or reminder) to the phone number you provide. These are not marketing messages. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out of texts at any time by replying STOP, or by contacting us at chrishall51@verizon.net.
How we share your information
We share your information only as needed to run our booking system:
- Square— our appointment and scheduling provider. Your booking details are processed and stored by Square so the shop can manage its calendar. Square’s handling of your data is governed by Square’s own privacy policy.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for third-party advertising.
Data retention
We keep your appointment and contact information for as long as needed to serve you and to keep normal business records, unless you ask us to delete it.
Your choices and rights
You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to stop contacting you. To make a request, email chrishall51@verizon.net. We will respond within a reasonable time.
Children's privacy
This website is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. A parent or guardian may book on a child’s behalf.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it last changed.
